Women in North Africa, the Gulf and India have cared for their hair with plants and oils for centuries. This department brings together these traditional treatments and modern ranges inspired by the same ingredients.

In this department

• Plant powders: sidr (jujube leaves), shikakai, neutral henna, nila.
• Hair oils: Dabur amla oil, sidr oil, argan oil, herbal oil, 7-seed oils.
• Shampoos, conditioners and serums: Vatika, Venus, Swalis, black seed shampoos.
• Mchate and traditional Algerian treatments.

A simple routine

Apply an oil to the lengths as an oil bath once or twice a week, leave on, then wash. Sidr powder mixed with water makes a gentle cleansing mask, to be rinsed thoroughly.
