Collection: Fassoukhs

Fassoukh is the North African name for the gum resin of ferula, close to galbanum. Widely used in Morocco and Algeria, it is part of the traditional fumigations used to purify the home.

Our fassoukhs

  • White wasqui fassoukh (fassoukh el abiad), the most common.
  • Black fassoukh (fassoukh el aswad), with a drier finish.
  • Fassoukh powder and galbanum oil.

Traditional use

Fassoukh is burned in small pieces on hot charcoal. Its smell is powerful: a small piece is enough. Air the room well after use and keep out of reach of children.
