Collection: Frankincense & louban (incense, oils, cosmetics)

Frankincense, called louban or louban dakar in North Africa, is the resin of the Boswellia tree. Harvested since Antiquity in Oman, Yemen, Somalia and Sudan, it is one of the most widely used incenses in the world.

Our frankincense selection

  • Resins to burn: male louban dakar, hawjari and najdi frankincense from the Sultanate of Oman, Somali, Sudanese or Libyan louban, scented blends (oud, jasmine, orchid, moringa).
  • Top-grade frankincense: hawjari and najdi from Dhofar, Oman.
  • Frankincense oils and water: frankincense oil, louban essential oil, hydrosol.
  • Cosmetics: soaps, creams, sprays and kohl with frankincense.

How to burn frankincense

Place a few grains on hot charcoal or in an incense burner. The resin melts slowly and releases a woody, lemony, resinous scent. Air the room after use.
