Usage tips

It is used alone or mixed with other resins, such as frankincense and benzoin. To express the scent of myrrh resin, it must be heated in a diffuser or burned over hot coals. Equip yourself with special coals treated with saltpeter, tongs and an incense burner or censer, or even a simple container lined with sand. Light the charcoal, place it in its incense burner. Wait for its edges to whiten. Place a few pieces of resin on top.

Instructions for use with diffuser for resins

Fill the cup 2/3 full of sand. Light the candle and place your resin mixture. For a gentler emission, replace the sand with water, taking care to add water before it completely evaporates, to avoid burning the mixture. The scent is emitted after a few minutes, when the sand or water reaches temperature. You can make your own mixtures of resins, aromatics (tea, cloves, pepper, etc.) or essential oils to give free rein to your desire for natural room fragrances. Let us know your findings and recipes.
