Collection: Henna & nila

Henna and nila (Saharan indigo) are two plants at the heart of beauty rituals in North Africa, the Middle East and India. Henna colours and coats the hair and is used to decorate hands for celebrations. Blue nila has been used for generations in face and body care.

In this department

  • Henna powder and leaves: natural henna, neutral (colourless) henna, henna from Yemen, Tazarine and Wad Adahab.
  • Hair colouring henna: blond, black, mahogany, red, auburn.
  • Henna for hands: ready-to-use cones and missou (saratiya).
  • Nila sahraouia powder and nila care: soaps, creams, scrub, serum, rose water with nila.

Using henna

Mix the powder with lukewarm water (or an infusion) to a smooth paste, let it rest, then apply to clean hair. The application time depends on the desired shade. Always do a skin test 48 hours before, especially for coloured hennas.
